Here's a chance to use your freedoms to help others. We would love to have you help at Bikers with Boxes. You can donate towards, bring, and/or participate in our charity ride for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Operation Christmas Child Shoebox is simply shoeboxes filled with small gifts and necessities for an underprivileged child who will likely not receive any Christmas gifts. I've pasted the shoebox instructions below, or you can visit
http://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box/ for more information:
Which would you prefer to act on?
1. Make a Shoebox
Use an empty cardboard or plastic shoebox (average size). You can wrap the box, lid separately, but wrapping is not required.
Boy or Girl
Decide whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Download and print the appropriate boy/girl label. Mark the correct age category and tape the label to the top of your box.
2. Donate
Send, drop ship, drop off your donations to our collection place by Oct 10th. The website link above will give you a detailed list of what goes into shoeboxes. Some simple suggestions include small toys (bouncy ball, coloring book and crayons, jump rope, doll, stuffed animal), travel sized hygiene items (toothpaste, bar soap, toothbrush, washcloth), school supplies (notebook, pencils, colored pencils, calculator), and even clothing (tee-shirt, underwear, socks, flip-flops).
3. Transporter

We will meet at 8am on the 18th. We will fill the motorcycles with shoe boxes and take a leisure ride to the collections site, Billy Graham Library. Once we arrive at the Library on the day of the event, we can expect fellowship with other bikers, lunch, complimentary commemorative items, music, and the Library’s Journey of Faith tour. The tour is always free, and takes you through Mr. Graham’s life and ministry through rare video footage, memorabilia, and multimedia displays.
Please let me know if you have any other questions! We look forward to any contribution you can make!
We would like to have all items in by
Oct 10th so we can have local children create shoeboxes from the donated items. Again, thank you for your time and energy toward this great cause. You are laying treasures in Heaven!
